1. Physico-Chemical Treatment
Neutralization of strong acids and alkalis, cyanide detoxification, hexavalent chromium reduction, and heavy metal precipitation into insoluble hydroxides followed by filter-press dewatering.
Because no two industrial waste streams are identical, INCINERO KBH deploys complementary processes (thermal, physico-chemical, mineral stabilization, and bioremediation) for 100% compliant disposal.
In accordance with Algerian Executive Decree No. 06-104 establishing the official nomenclature of special wastes, we direct each industrial stream to the most efficient and environmentally compliant processing line.
Neutralization of strong acids and alkalis, cyanide detoxification, hexavalent chromium reduction, and heavy metal precipitation into insoluble hydroxides followed by filter-press dewatering.
High-temperature incineration (> 1,100 °C) with a dedicated secondary combustion chamber ensuring a gas residence time exceeding 2 seconds for the total breakdown of chlorinated aromatics and toxic organics.
Mineral encapsulation utilizing pozzolanic and hydraulic binders to chemically trap heavy metals and prevent leaching into groundwater aquifers prior to secure Class 1 landfilling.
Controlled aerobic microbial degradation and bio-augmentation on engineered biopiles for treating soils contaminated with light hydrocarbons and organic refinery sludges.
Operating at our modern El Attaf complex, our facility operates in compliance with Best Available Techniques (BAT):
Under Algerian Law 01-19 and Executive Decree 06-104, Special Waste (S) encompasses all industrial non-municipal waste. If exhibiting toxicity, flammability, corrosiveness, or infectious traits, it is designated as Special Hazardous Waste (SD) requiring certified thermal or physico-chemical treatment.
Our analytical laboratory conducts prior characterization (PCI, flash point, halogens, heavy metals, and toxicity). Depending on results, the stream is routed to A4000 incineration, chemical neutralization, or hydraulic binder stabilization.
